| Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What separates LINE-X from its competitors?
A. LINE-X is the only Spray-on Bedliner Company that manufactures its own polyurethane, giving it the highest tensile strength in the industry. It's also sprayed on hot, giving it a factory like finish. Your truck is ready in 2 hours or less, not over night.
Q. How do you prepare my truck for the LINE-X process?
A. First we take 60% to 75% of the paint off the surface of the truck bed, using a disk sander. Then we mask and paper the truck. We put the truck in the paint booth, cover any remaining surfaces with a plastic tarp. We then rub alcohol over the sanded truck bed surface to remove any grease, moister, or residue. Line-X product is then professional applied by a trained certified applicator.
Q.What is the difference between over the rail and under the rail and what do you recommend?
A. First, the difference between over and under the rail is basic. Over the rail is when the LINE-X product comes over the rail to any line the customer determines. Under the rail is when LINE-X product stops under the lip of the rail.
Second, LINE-X recommends going over the rail do to one simple fact, your rails can and do receive a lot of abuse. Also if you are installing anything from diamond plate to a canopy, over the rail application offers a line of protection against abrasive accessories. LINE-X does not interfere with any accessory installation.
Q. I know your bedliner is the strongest out there, but what if I gouge my LINE-X bedliner?
A. LINE-X backs up its bedliner with a Written Lifetime Warranty. We can also make a seamless repair to the bedliner.
Q. I saw on a popular TV show that revealed the safety hazards of drop-in bedliner when it comes to static electricity causing an explosion by sparking and igniting a fuel container. Is this possible with your bedliner?
A. No, We take off the paint to prepare the truck bed exposing bare metal, grounding the bedliner. |
